Nest Hotel Hakata Station

This is the second time that I stayed at this location in Fukuoka. Funnily, I stayed in the same room as last time. I came back to this hotel because of the front desk staff. Although they speak very little English they go out of their way to assist, accomodate and even anticipate customer needs. In a world where things are becoming increasingly automated it is so nice to see a friendly face - especially when travelling alone. The food was just basic - nothing special but the service is stellar at all points. Even housekeeping was so engaging and accomodating.

Room space larger than common found in Japan Hotel .Comfortable beds to sunken in and 2pillows provided each bed. Location is great a little walk from HAKATA station and reachable Canal city by10mins walk .Even though bus stop is next block from hotel.

The staff were super friendly, it was easy to communicate even though I had some difficulty with speaking Japanese. The rooms were cleaned often, and the towels were changed daily. Overall, my family and I had a great time in Fukuoka because of Nest Hotel Hakata Station.

1. Nest Hakata is in a perfect location, away from busy street but close enough to the train station. 2. Facility is very clean with great customer service. Communication was not difficult despite the language barrier. 3. Rooms are a bit small, well depends on type of room, but not bad for staying one night, clean room and bath.

Very convenient near the Hakata train station. 4-5 minutes walk. A huge 7-11 around the corner. Staff speaks decent English. Has self service laundry facilities.
